inp.polri.go.id - South Kalimantan. The South Kalimantan Regional Police's General Criminal Investigation Directorate held a press conference regarding the disclosure of several prominent criminal cases during the first half of 2026.

The cases uncovered included aggravated theft, robbery, and motorcycle theft. The three crimes are also known as the 3Cs.

The press conference was led by the Director of General Criminal Investigation of the South Kalimantan Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Frido Situmorang at the South Kalimantan Regional Police Headquarters in Banjarbaru on Monday (6/29/2026)

In his presentation, Frido stated that from January to June 2026, the police successfully disclosed 153 police reports, with a total of 211 suspects arrested.

"This disclosure is the result of our work in maintaining a conducive public order and security situation," said Frido.

He emphasized that the disclosure of these cases demonstrates the police's commitment to providing a sense of security to the community.

"We follow up on every public report seriously. We want to ensure that perpetrators of crimes, whether theft or thuggery, have no room to disturb the community," he emphasized.

As a result of these disclosures, the police also secured various pieces of evidence, including stolen motorcycles, cash, sharp weapons, and several other items related to the crimes.
