inp.polri.go.id - Lampung. The Lampung Regional Police Special Criminal Investigation Directorate demonstrated its commitment to eradicating the misuse of subsidized fuel and illegal oil and gas business activities in Lampung Province.
Twenty-nine suspects in the illegal diesel fuel hoarding, processing, and distribution case in Pesawaran Regency have been officially handed over, along with evidence, to the Pesawaran District Attorney's Office.
The Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Yuni Iswandari Yuyun, stated that the transfer was a follow-up to the intensive investigation conducted by the police into the illegal diesel fuel network uncovered in April 2026.
"The transfer of suspects and evidence has been carried out in accordance with applicable legal procedures. A total of 29 suspects have been officially handed over to the Pesawaran District Attorney's Office for further legal proceedings," he said.
According to him, the transfer process went smoothly, and all suspects are now being held in custody by the Pesawaran District Attorney's Office.
"Currently, the suspects are being held at the Lampung Regional Police Headquarters Detention Center in the custody of the prosecutor's office while awaiting prosecution and trial," he said.
The Lampung Regional Police also encourage the public to play an active role by reporting any suspected misuse of subsidized fuel or illegal oil and gas business activities in their neighborhoods to support the creation of better and more equitable energy governance.
