inp.polri.go.id - Bogor Regency. The Bogor Sub-regional Police distributed 53 sacrificial animals for Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri to the people of Bogor Regency, West Java. The animals distributed consisted of 30 bulls and 23 goats.
"Alhamdulillah, this year we can once again share happiness with the community in celebrating Eid al-Adha. We ensure that all sacrificial animals have been directly examined by veterinarians and declared healthy and meet the requirements for sacrifice," said Bogor Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Wikha Ardilestanto, as quoted by Antara, Wednesday (5/27/2026).
He explained that all sacrificial animals underwent clinical examinations by veterinarians to ensure they were healthy, disease-free, and suitable for public consumption.
During the event, two jumbo-sized bulls captured the attention of the public during the symbolic handover ceremony at Bogor Sub-regional Police Headquarters.
He added that 22 bulls and 20 goats were distributed to various areas in Bogor Regency and City. Recipients of the sacrificial animals included regional agencies, correctional institutions, religious organizations, Islamic boarding schools, student organizations, media communities, and religious leaders and clerics in the Bogor area.
"Through this sacrificial service, we hope to strengthen the emotional bond and partnership between the police and the community," he said.
