The event, which took place at Warkop Simpang Sentul in Cibinong, Bogor, was part of a government assistance program to support arts and religious activities.

Minister of Culture Fadli Zon stated that the cultural facilities and infrastructure facilitation program was ordered by President Prabowo Subianto to revitalize and develop culture.

"We must also mobilize music communities throughout Indonesia. For example, in the Greater Jakarta area, in 12 cities, we are providing assistance to studios and street music communities, so that street musicians are trained and facilitated by the Ministry of Culture," Fadli Zon said in an official statement on Sunday (8/16/2026).

The assistance distributed includes angklung, tambourines, marawis, hadroh, gamelan, active speakers, and a number of other musical equipment that can be used for various arts activities.

According to Fadli, strengthening music communities is a crucial part of building a cultural ecosystem.

The Ministry of Culture also runs a facilitation program for music studios and communities, including street music communities in several areas of Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek).

"Hopefully, this assistance can support artistic activities. Because arts and culture are inseparable from our daily lives. Furthermore, we hope that this hadroh, gamelan, and sound system can also be used for activities in various locations, including for arts activities," said Fadli Zon.
