"The confiscated evidence includes 1,697 liters of subsidized fuel, 53,527 LPG cylinders, nine tanker trucks, and 398 cars and trucks, with estimated state losses reaching nearly IDR 1.35 billion," said Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Iwan Kurniawan.

He explained that this law enforcement is part of their commitment to ensuring that energy distribution is targeted and not misused by irresponsible parties.

In addition to law enforcement, the police also continue to promote energy efficiency across all work units.

"On the other hand, we are also intensifying law enforcement against misuse of subsidized energy distribution to ensure that people's rights remain protected," Iwan said.

This measure is also aimed at ensuring that food safety and quality are maintained, both at the producer and consumer levels.

This way, people can obtain food that is safe and in accordance with regulations.

"Together with relevant agencies, we are monitoring the implementation of government purchasing price policies, maximum retail prices, and reference purchasing prices, while ensuring that food safety and quality are maintained at the producer and consumer levels," said Iwan.

As part of this oversight, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police are also enforcing the law against violations of food quality standards circulating in the community.

During the action, officers confiscated 183 sacks of premium rice of various sizes, or approximately one ton, that did not meet the applicable standards.

"This measure is a form of state protection for the public's right to obtain safe, quality, and standardized food," said the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief.
