AGO’s Asset Recovery Agency Auction Generates Nearly Rp1 Trillion from Seized Assets

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia’s Attorney General’s Office (AGO) Asset Recovery Agency (BPA) auctioned 300 out of 308 seized assets during the BPA Fair held from 18 to 21 May 2026, generating nearly Rp 1 Trillion.

“Only eight items remained unsold,” said BPA Head Kuntadi in Jakarta on May 21. The auction featured luxury cars, motorcycles, jewelry, and gold-plated artwork.

The standout item was a Harley Davidson Road Glide motorcycle, previously seized from money laundering convict Rajo Emirsyah in connection with the online gambling protection case at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs. The luxury motorcycle attracted 349 bidders and saw its final price skyrocket by 930.86% from its initial base limit.

The high-profile public auction featured luxury cars, high-end motorcycles, jewelry, and gold-leaf paintings seized from convicted criminals.It saw the highest price increase of 930.86 percent and attracted 349 bidders.

The auction generated Rp 997.47 billion, including Rp74.75 billion in price increases above the initial asset limits. The rate reached 88.64 percent, surpassing the target of 75 percent.

Kuntadi noted this represented a 481 percent improvement compared to monthly auctions held earlier in 2026, highlighting growing public interest in asset recovery sales.
