Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) will officially relocate all its staff to Indonesia’s new capital, Nusantara (IKN), in East Kalimantan, by March 2025.
OIKN Head Basuki Hadimuljono said on Wednesday (12/2/2025) that the move aims to streamline operations and accelerate IKN’s development.
Currently, OIKN employees are spread across Jakarta, Balikpapan, and IKN, but from March onward, all activities will be centralized at the newly built OIKN headquarters in the Main Government Area (KIPP) of IKN.
"All OIKN employees must relocate since the office is ready, along with four apartment buildings for staff housing," Basuki said after a meeting with Commission II of the House of Representatives (DPR).
OIKN spokesperson Troy Pantouw confirmed that the transition is on track, with full-scale operations at the new headquarters set to begin in March.
Basuki plans to inspect the site before the relocation to ensure everything is in place.
