inp.polri.go.id - Bali. Amidst the solemn Vesak Day celebrations, the Bali Regional Police, through the Saber Food Task Force, continues to demonstrate its commitment to maintaining price stability and the availability of staple foods for the public.
These routine and ongoing monitoring activities involve synergy between the Bali Regional Police and relevant agencies within the Bali Provincial Government. The Saber Food Task Force team went directly to the field to monitor and supervise, and educate traders and the public about the importance of maintaining price stability and distribution of staple foods.
Traditional markets, which serve as centers of economic activity, are the primary targets of these monitoring activities. During today's activities, the team monitored several traditional markets in Denpasar City to ensure stable prices for staple foods and adequate stock availability.
From the field monitoring, no indications of hoarding, price gouging, or irregularities in the distribution of staple foods were found. Prices for various food commodities were observed to be normal and in accordance with applicable regulations. The availability of goods is also considered secure to meet the community's needs.
The success in maintaining stable food prices and supplies is a positive indicator of the synergy between the government, businesses, and law enforcement in creating a conducive economic situation for the Balinese people.
The Bali Regional Police emphasized that intensive monitoring will continue throughout Bali. If any individuals are found attempting to engage in fraudulent practices, manipulate market prices, or disrupt the distribution of basic necessities, the police will act professionally, transparently, and in accordance with applicable laws.
