inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Forensic doctor at the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM), Yoga Tohijiwa, revealed the autopsy results of the body of young diplomat from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Arya Daru Pangayunan (39). The examination began with the initial examination.

Yogi explained that the body revealed an open wound on the inside of his lip; abrasions on his face and neck, as well as bruises on his face; and bruising on his right upper limb due to blunt force trauma. He explained that the bruising on his right upper limb was the result of climbing while on the 12th floor of the Foreign Ministry building.

"Investigators reported that while at the building, there was climbing on the rooftop on the 12th floor. That could have caused the bruising on his right upper arm," Yogi explained at the Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police headquarters on Tuesday (7/29/2025).

He explained that signs of blockages in all of Arya's internal organs were also found on Arya's body. However, no disease was found in his organs.

Meanwhile, toxicology and histopathology examinations also found no substances that could affect oxygen exchange. In fact, no toxic substances such as cyanide, alcohol, or arsenic were found.

"Therefore, the cause of death was impaired oxygen exchange in the upper respiratory tract, which led to suffocation," Yogi explained.
