Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. Bali Regional Police’s Food Task Force reaffirmed their commitment to protecting public welfare by monitoring food prices across Denpasar’s traditional markets during Vesak celebrations on Sunday (31/5/2026) to ensure stable supplies and fair pricing.
The task force, working with provincial agencies, checked stock levels and distribution channels. No evidence of hoarding or price manipulation was found, with commodities reported at normal levels.
Authorities emphasized that continuous monitoring will be carried out across Bali. Any individuals attempting to disrupt distribution or inflate prices will face legal action.
Police also educated traders and consumers on the importance of fair practices in maintaining economic stability.
