inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Bali Regional Police are focusing on electronic-based law enforcement in the implementation of Operation Patuh Agung 2026 as an effort to improve public traffic discipline through the use of digital technology that is more transparent, accountable, and humane.

This commitment was affirmed during the Patuh Agung 2026 Pre-Operation Exercise held by the Bali Regional Police Traffic Directorate as part of preparations for the operation, which will take place simultaneously throughout the Bali Regional Police jurisdiction.

The training was led by the Head of Operations of the Bali Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Soelistijono, and the Director of Traffic of the Bali Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Turmudi, and attended by operational officials and personnel from the Operation Patuh Agung 2026 Task Force.

This year, Operation Patuh Agung carries the theme "Optimizing Electronic Law Enforcement Transformation."

This theme reflects the Bali Regional Police's efforts to modernize its traffic law enforcement system through the use of digital technology, specifically Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE).

The Traffic Director stated that pre-operational training is a crucial step in establishing a common understanding and establishing action patterns, as well as improving personnel readiness before being deployed into the field.

He stated that the digital transformation in traffic law enforcement aims to build a more transparent, accountable, and humane system.

The use of ETLE technology, both static and mobile, will be the primary instrument in enforcing violations during Operation Patuh Agung 2026.

"Through this digital transformation, we want to build a more transparent, accountable, and humane law enforcement system. The use of technology such as ETLE, both static and mobile, will be our vanguard in enforcing road user discipline in Bali," said Turmudi on Friday (6/5/2026).
