Inp.polri.go.id - Depok The Mobile Brigade Corps is intensifying security measures to counter potential public disturbances linked to rising global oil prices. 

Speaking at a technical coordination meeting in Depok on Tuesday (21/4/2026), Brimob Commander Commissioner General Ramdani Hidayat confirmed that the unit is acting on risk assessments regarding the impact of ongoing geopolitical tensions involving the U.S., Israel, and Iran.

"The Intelligence and Security Agency has already mapped the potential threats. Now, we are focused on anticipation," he told reporters, as cited by antaranews.com.

Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo directed the corps to modernize equipment and strengthen training to maintain stability. 

While current demonstrations remain manageable by regional units, Commander Ramdani emphasized that over 7,000 personnel are prepared for deployment. The operation aligns with the 2026 Government Work Plan to ensure national security remains intact despite global economic fluctuations.
