inp.polri.go.id - Depok. The Indonesian National Police Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) officially launched Brimob X-Treme 2026, a prestigious international shooting championship commemorating the 81st anniversary of the Corps.
The championship took place from April 7–12, 2026, at the Hoegeng Iman Santoso 300 Shooting Range and the Gegana Pas Wanteror Shooting Range, at the Indonesian National Police (INP) Mobile Brigade Headquarters, Kelapa Dua, Depok, West Java.
With the theme "Legacy of Valor, Precision for the Extreme," the championship reflected the long journey of INP Brimob in upholding the values of struggle, while also affirming Brimob's transformation into a superior, modern, innovative, and responsive organization.
From the first day of the event, Brimob X-Treme 2026 demonstrated high enthusiasm, with hundreds of participants, ranging from 447 to 475 shooters, representing various elements, from Indonesian Army (TNI) personnel and INP, to the general public.
This event also attracted international participants from Malaysia, China, and South Korea, signaling global recognition of the quality of shooting competitions held in Indonesia.
This competition featured IPSC (International Practical Shooting Confederation) Handgun Level III and PCC Optic Level II categories, with a total of 20 stages designed to challenge and comprehensively test participants' abilities, from speed, accuracy, and dexterity to physical and mental endurance.
The entire competition series was structured according to IPSC international standards, ensuring fair, safe, and professional competition, while also serving as an objective benchmark for athletes' abilities at the global level.
More than just a competition, Brimob X-Treme 2026 is a strategic opportunity to strengthen athlete development and demonstrate that the skills of Indonesian personnel and athletes trained are ready to compete at the global level.
In his remarks, the Commander of INP Mobile Brigade Corps, Commissioner General Ramdani Hidayat, emphasized that this event has a broader meaning than just a competition.
"The Brimob X-Treme 2026 shooting championship is a concrete manifestation of efforts to preserve and maintain the legacy of the Brimob Corps' fighting values, which are full of courage and devotion to the nation and state," he said.
He added that this championship also serves as a platform for cross-sector development and collaboration.
