inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo accompanies the President of Indonesia Joko “Jokowi” Widodo in the ceremony of Pancasila Sanctity Commemoration Day, at the Pancasila Sakti Monument, East Jakarta, on Tuesday (10/1/2024).
The ceremony opened with the singing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya, followed by a report from the ceremony commander, Senior Superintendent I Ketut Gede Adi Wibawa to the President as the ceremony inspector, that the ceremony was ready to be carried out.
“To commemorate the service of our fallen heroes, especially our revolution heroes, let us pray together,” says President Jokowi.
Next, the reading of the Pancasila text was read by People's Consultative Assembly Chairperson Bambang Soesatyo, followed by the reading of the text of the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia by Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia ChairpersonLa Nyalla Mahmud Mattalitti.
In this ceremony, a reading and signing of the pledge of loyalty to Pancasila was guided by the Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives Puan Maharani.
After the reading of the Pledge, the ceremony continued with a prayer reading by the Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas.
After the reading of the prayer, the ceremony inspector received a great salute from the ceremony commander, then the ceremony inspector left the ceremony podium. Following the ceremony, president and the entourage reviewed the Pancasila Sakti Monument and Lubang Buaya.
