Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Damai Cartenz 2026 Task Force (ODC) provided essential healthcare services and conducted security patrols for displaced residents in Gigobak Village, Sinak District, Puncak, Central Papua, on Friday (24/4/2026).
This humanitarian initiative aimed to ensure regional stability while addressing the basic health needs of those affected by recent displacements.
"This activity focuses on ensuring the security situation around the displacement camps remains conducive, while paying attention to the health conditions of the affected community," said Damai Cartenz Task Force Commander Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani, as cited by antaranews.com.
He emphasized that the presence of personnel serves as a tangible form of care for the safety and welfare of local citizens.
In addition to foot patrols, medical teams performed check-ups and provided treatment for minor ailments.
Deputy Head of Damai Cartenz Task Force Senior Superintendent Adarma Sinaga added that a humanistic approach is key to maintaining a peaceful environment, helping residents feel secure as they navigate the recovery process in the Sinak District.
