Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police, (INP) Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo confirmed that outbound traffic from Jakarta remains smooth on the second day of Operation Ketupat 2026 after conducting an extensive aerial inspection of major toll road networks.

"Based on aerial monitoring, the traffic flow leaving Jakarta is moving very smoothly, and although there has been a recorded increase in vehicle volume, it remains within a highly manageable category," he said during a press briefing at the Kilometer 29 Command Center in Cikarang, West Java, on Saturday (14/3/2026), as cited by antaranews.com.

The inspection covered the trans-Java corridor from West Java’s Cikampek to the Central Java’s Kalikangkung border and into the Ngawi exit in East Java, alongside routes leading to Merak Port  in Banten where heavy three-axle vehicles are being diverted to arterial roads.

Supported by 161,243 joint personnel and 2,746 integrated service posts, the police are utilizing real-time Command Center technology to monitor 185,607 high-priority locations, including transportation hubs and places of worship. Operation Ketupat 2026 will continue until 25 March 2026 to ensure both traffic fluidity and public order during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday season.
