inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Narcotics Investigation Directorate of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency has uncovered a suspected drug trafficking case at the HH Club Planet 3.0 Pub & KTV nightclub in Batam, Riau Islands.

The Director of Narcotics Investigation Directorate of INP, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, stated that the raid took place early Monday morning at around 1:00 a.m. by a joint team from Sub-Directorate IV and the Narcotics Investigation Center (NIC).

"Officers from the joint team arrested 32 people in the operation, identified as suspects and witnesses," Eko Hadi said in Jakarta on Monday (8/10/2026).

In addition, the joint team also confiscated several pieces of drug evidence.

Regarding the case and the chronology of the investigation, Eko stated that detailed information would be provided after the investigation was completed.

"Further information will be provided after the questioning of the suspects and witnesses is complete," he said.

Throughout 2026, the INP Narcotics Investigation Directorate uncovered drug trafficking cases at several nightlife venues (THM).

In March 2026, the police uncovered a suspected drug trafficking case at a THM called White Rabbit in South Jakarta.

Then, in April 2026, the team also uncovered the illicit trafficking of ecstasy at the N CO Living by NIX THM in Badung Regency, Bali.

Next, in May 2026, the team raided the New Zone THM in Medan, North Sumatra, on suspicion of drug trafficking.

Most recently, on August 7, 2026, the team uncovered another suspected drug trafficking case at the Five Stars THM in Denpasar, Bali.
