Fauzan stated that this activity was part of routine internal supervision to maintain the integrity and professionalism of police officers. The monitoring, carried out by the Profession and Security Division, was conducted unannounced to ensure that all personnel, especially leaders, were free from drug abuse.

"This urine test is a preventative measure and demonstrates our commitment to combating drugs, starting from within the police force. Police officers must be drug-free to provide the best service to the public," said Fauzan Arianto on Wednesday (2/25/2026).

Fauzan emphasized that this activity also served to emphasize the zero tolerance level for officers involved in drug abuse. If any violations are found, he assured that action will be taken in accordance with applicable regulations.

"We must be the role model in drug eradication efforts," he said.

He added that the examination results showed that all participants, including him and the High-ranking officers, tested negative for drugs. This activity is one of the oversight functions of the East Kutai Sub-regional Police to prevent potential drug abuse within the police force while maintaining public trust in the police institution.

"We ensure that similar activities will continue to be held periodically, both scheduled and unannounced, to create a clean, professional, and integrated law enforcement apparatus," he said.
