inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Retired Indonesian Military (TNI) Commander, General Andika Perkasa appreciates the improving public trust, positive image, and public satisfaction of INP following a survey from Kompas Research and Development (Litbang Kompas). 

According to him, the achievement is the fruit of hard work of police members and the leadership of INP leaders.

Andika assesses that improved public trust has an important meaning for INP as it was acquired through a survey that used scientific methodology with randomly selected respondents.

He also cited Kompas Research and Development as a highly credible survey institution, making its results worthy of being used as an objective reflection of public perception of INP.

"What is clear is that the Chief of Police has demonstrated extraordinary leadership. Shown in the increased public trust in INP. This is no easy feat, as it is derived from public opinion through credible survey methods," he said.

Beyond public trust, Andika also highlighted the significant improvement in the positive image of INP. He recalled that in September of last year, the police's image had reached its lowest point in eleven years. However, through various ongoing improvement measures, this image has rebounded, approaching its highest level ever achieved in 2021.

"This demonstrates the tremendous work done by the Chief of Police, along with all leaders and staff. They have worked harder, demonstrated self-control, and consistently made improvements, resulting in a sharp rise in the image of INP. This is an extraordinary achievement," said Andika, impressed.

In closing his statement, Andika expressed his hope that all police personnel would continue to maintain and even enhance the professionalism and public trust they have successfully established.

As a former leader of a government institution and part of the police family, he is optimistic that the Bhayangkara Corps will continue to develop into an increasingly professional and trusted institution.
