Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) conducted a high-level promotion ceremony on Thursday (19/3/2026) at the Rupatama Building, the Indonesian National Police (INP) Headquarters, elevating 47 senior officers to higher ranks. 

The promotion included one officer rising to the rank of Commissioner General (three-star), 14 to Police Inspector General (two-star), and 32 to Brigadier General (one-star), including two recipients of Extraordinary Rank Promotion (KPLB).

"This promotion is not only a form of appreciation but a mandate and a greater responsibility to continue increasing professionalism, integrity, and public service," said Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir, the Head of the INP Public Relations Division, as reported by antaranews.com.

He explained that these appointments are a strategic step to strengthen the "Presisi" (Predictive, Responsible, and Fair Transparency) transformation within the force. 

Notable promotions include Commissioner General Achmad Kartiko, currently serving as the Head of the Police Education and Training Institute, and Inspector General Asep Guntur Rahayu, who holds a strategic position at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). These leadership changes across various regional commands, including Papua and West Papua, aim to bolster national security and maintain public order through experienced command structures.
