inp.polri.go.id - West Jakarta. The West Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police conducted large-scale patrols to anticipate street crime, brawls, and drug trafficking in several vulnerable areas in West Jakarta early Monday (May 25, 2026). 

The patrol, led directly by West Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi, involved a joint force of personnel from the Indonesian Military (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (INP), and the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP).

The patrols targeted several locations considered prone to crime and public order disturbances. During a raid on Pangeran Tubagus Angke street, Tambora, West Jakarta, officers inspected several motorcyclists traveling towards Kota Tua.

The raids resulted in the arrest of four individuals carrying hard drugs, including Tramadol, and meth. The four individuals were immediately taken to the Tambora Sector Police Station for further questioning.

"During this raid, we succeeded in apprehending four individuals found in possession of hard drugs, and another individual in possession of methamphetamine," said Twedi. 

He stated that his team is currently investigating the origin of the prohibited items, including where they were obtained and their intended use. 

Twedi explained that patrols and raids are being conducted simultaneously across the city, at different locations each day.

He added that patrols and raids will continue until the morning as a preventative measure to provide a sense of security and comfort to the public, especially during times when security disturbances and crime are most likely to occur.
