The Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Regional Police emphasized that fuel stocks in Aceh are currently safe. This assurance refers to an official statement from PT Pertamina Patra Niaga.

"Fuel stocks in Aceh are confirmed safe, according to the official statement from Pertamina," said Senior Superintendent Joko Krisdiyanto, as reported by Media Hub, Friday (3/6/2026).

Pertamina also urged the public not to engage in panic buying or excessive fuel purchases. "The public is expected to remain calm and only purchase fuel according to their needs," continued Joko.

Furthermore, the Aceh Regional Police reminded the public not to hoard fuel by exploiting the situation, which could harm the wider community.

"We urge the public not to hoard fuel for personal gain. If we discover any such practices that could lead to fuel shortages, we will certainly take firm action in accordance with applicable laws," he concluded.
