inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo emphasized his commitment to continuously strengthening all police personnel's equipment to further guarantee the security of Indonesian people.

The statement  was conveyed during the opening of INP Logistics Staff (Slog) Technical Working Meeting in Cipinang, East Jakarta.

"One of the things I asked is for our members to be equipped with equipment that can truly provide security for the public," said Sigit on Tuesday (5/12/2026).

In the Meeting, General Sigit also inaugurated a laboratory that will be used to check and ensure that the quality of uniforms issued to personnel truly meets the standards.

"We also saw and demonstrated firsthand how we prepare uniforms, especially for personnel tasked with responding to potential riots," said INP Chief.

He further explained that personnel uniforms will also be prepared to deal with potential attacks in conflict-prone areas. The uniform is designed to ward off arrow attacks.

"One of the things we showed earlier was how to protect ourselves in the event of an attack, particularly in areas prone to conflict, where archery is often used. And thank God, with the new equipment, our members can avoid potential arrow attacks," noted Sigit.

He added that in the future, personnel will also be equipped with various types of personal protective equipment to face all kinds of potential challenges in the field.

Regarding all of this, General Sigit emphasized that this equipment is intended to ensure all police personnel can carry out their duties optimally in ensuring public safety and addressing all kinds of risks.

Furthermore, Chief Sigit also distributed several much-needed operational equipment to members. These include 430 vehicles, ranging from motorcycles to electric patrol cars and ambulances.

He hopes that all of this will be part of optimizing and providing support to all members who carry out their duties in operational functions and provide services and security to the public.
