inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Bali. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has asked all his staff to mitigate the potential for extreme weather during the Eid al-Fitr return flow, particularly in the eastern region and at crossing points prone to severe weather.
"We ask all personnel to fully prepare themselves for any adverse weather conditions, especially at crossing points," explained General Sigit after inspecting tourist attractions and preparations for the Eid al-Fitr return flow at the ITDC Command Center in Nusa Dua, Bali, on Tuesday (3/24/2026).
According to General Sigit, weather mitigation facilitates planning and management to avoid undesirable events.
"The planning and management can also be improved to avoid undesirable events caused by extreme weather," he said.
On the other hand, General Sigit also instructed all ranks to provide optimal service to the public during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr return flow period. The National Police Chief said that the peak of the 2026 Eid al-Fitr return flow is predicted to occur on Tuesday (24/3/25).
