The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo together with a number of high-ranking officials from INP Headquarters and also the Governor of West Kalimantan directly witness the simultaneous corn harvest centered at Harry Hadisoemantri Bengkayang Air Force Base, West Kalimantan (6/5/2025).

INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo emphasized the importance of police support for national food security.

"This is a manifestation of our commitment to supporting national strategic programs, especially in the agricultural and food security sectors," he said.

For that, he continued, synergy between the apparatus, local government, and the community is the key to the success of this program.

INP Chief also directly checked the Alsintan which will later be given to farmer groups in Bengkayang.

Meanwhile, the West Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Pipit Rismanto, stated that the ranks of the West Kalimantan Regional Police are fully prepared to make the national agenda a success.

"We have prepared all aspects of security and cross-sector coordination so that this activity runs safely, orderly, and smoothly. This is an important moment for West Kalimantan to show its potential as a strategic food source production," he said.

The presence of the Chief of Police is part of a series of national activities to accompany the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, in the corn harvest event in Bengkayang Regency.
