inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo instructed all criminal investigation officers across Indonesia to create a sense of security and provide justice in enforcing the law for the public.
Sigit delivered this instruction while attending the opening of the Criminal Investigation Unit's technical working meeting at the INP Criminal Investigation Agency Hall, South Jakarta, on Thursday (5/7/2026).
"This demonstrates our commitment to working together to enforce the law, which is a special concern of the government, and also to provide a sense of security and justice for the public," said Sigit.
Sigit stated that this meeting is also part of improving professionalism and strengthening the quality and capabilities of human resources, particularly in the Criminal Investigation Unit.
On this occasion, Sigit also emphasized the need for enhanced collaboration and synergy among law enforcement officers.
According to Sigit, this is mandatory to ensure optimal law enforcement in line with all policies of President Prabowo Subianto.
"Especially in dealing with government work plan programs. On the other hand, we are also facing a global situation that certainly impacts the domestic situation, and this, of course, also creates new legal loopholes that we must anticipate together," said Sigit.
Sigit further explained that by realizing strong professionalism and synergy, we can ensure firm and thorough law enforcement against perpetrators of crimes that endanger the state and society.
