Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Suyudi Ario Seto presided over an organizational restructuring, handover of key posts, and rank promotion ceremony for high-ranking police officers at the Rupattama Building, Police Headquarters, Jakarta, on Saturday evening (3/10/2026).

The organizational adjustments were carried out pursuant to Telegram Letter ST/2205/X/KEP./2026 dated 2 October 2026, which detailed reassignment directives for 88 high-ranking and mid-ranking police officers, with 70 officers receiving promotions or new command assignments.

During the ceremony, 23 senior officers officially received rank promotions. Seven officers advanced to the rank of Commissioner General, including Sandi Nugroho, Dadang Hartanto, Dedy Kusuma Bakti, Asep Safrudin, Hery Herjawan, Andik Setiyono, and Rudi Darmoko.

Fourteen officers were promoted to Inspector General, including Agus Dwi Hermawan, Putu Putera Sadana, Hendra Kurniawan, Tubagus Ami Prindani, Pasma Royce, Yosi Muhamartha, Deni Dharmapala, Sonny Irawan, Rony Samtana, Adi Vivid Agustiadi Bachtiar, Adrianto Jossy Kusumo, Roy Hardi Siahaan, and Adex Yudiswan.

Two officers, Anwar Haidar and M. Darwis Debby Hermawan, were elevated to the rank of Brigadier General.

The major organizational rotation spanned key Principal Officers at INP Headquarters alongside 19 Regional Police Chiefs across jurisdictions such as Jakarta, West Java, East Java, Central Java, North Sumatra, and Bali.

INP Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir highlighted that the promotions and leadership reshuffle reflect institutional needs and systematic career development.

"Transfer and rotation of positions are part of the dynamics of the Polri organization," he said. "This is carried out according to organizational needs, while serving as part of career development and refreshment in executing police duties."

He further noted that the INP Chief expects newly appointed leaders to maintain organizational cohesion and continuity.
