inp.polri.go.id - Nagekeo. The Indonesian National Police (INP) continues to provide health services to communities affected by the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara. Through the INP Health Post in Nagekeo Regency, hundreds of people have received medical examinations and treatment during the post-disaster recovery period.
As of August 24, 2026, the INP Health Post has served approximately 400 refugees with various health complaints. These complaints include Acute Respiratory Tract Infections (ARI), gastritis, flu, and coughs.
The Head of the INP Health Center Health Team, Senior Superintendent Ahmad Fauzi, stated that every refugee receives examinations and treatment tailored to their individual health conditions.
"As of August 24, approximately 400 refugees have received health services at the post. We have received a wide variety of complaints, including ARI, gastritis, flu, and coughs. We conduct examinations and treatment based on each patient's individual condition," said Ahmad Fauzi in his statement on Monday (8/24/2026).
In addition to providing treatment, the INP Health Post is also part of an effort to ensure that earthquake-affected communities continue to have access to health services during the recovery period.
These services are provided directly to residents, prioritizing the needs and conditions of the community on the ground. The INP medical team also continues to coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure the continuity of health services.
"We will remain present as long as the community still needs health services. We hope that the community can get through this recovery period in increasingly healthy and strong condition," said Ahmad Fauzi.
