inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo says that INP had saved the state IDR 756 Billion from financial losses.

This recovery was achieved through the handling of oil and gas cases from January to June 2026.

General Sigit says that the police have handled approximately 464 criminal cases in the energy sector and arrested 594 suspects.

He adds that the police have seized various pieces of evidence such as 669,000 liters of solar, 80,000 liters of Pertalite, and 30,000 LPG units of various sizes.

“We estimate that we saved the state from a financial loss of IDR 756 billion,” says General Sigit on Bhayangkara Day in Cikeas, Bogor, on Wednesday (7/1/2026).

Moreover, the prominent case during the first six months of 2026 involved the misuse of the transportation of 120,000 liters of subsidized biodiesel. From this case, the police seized evidence in the form of one tanker, two Self-Propelled Oil Barges (SPOB), and seven transporter trucks.

"One of the prominent cases we uncovered involved the misuse of the transportation of 120,000 liters of subsidized biodiesel, with evidence consisting of one tanker, two SPOB vessels, and seven transporter trucks," he said.
