Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) dispatched 4,000 liters of specialized X-Fire extinguishing formula to support ongoing peatland wildfire fighting in South Sumatra on Sunday.
Logistics Officers from the INP Logistics Staff loaded 200 jerricans containing the chemical agent onto two transport trucks bound for the South Sumatra Regional Police headquarters.
"The INP continues to reinforce operational support for regional units tackling forest and land fires," said INP Public Relations Division Head of Public Information Bureau Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko on Monday, (7/9/2026) "The X-Fire formula is critical for peatland conditions requiring rapid and targeted suppression."
The X-Fire solution is mixed with water at a 1:4 ratio to maximize fire suppression efficiency in remote terrains, complementing ground-level spiral wetting methods to prevent deep subterranean reignition.
