Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The National Police Criminal Investigation Agency uncovered a major drug network on Friday (15/5/2026), operating at B Fashion Hotel in West Jakarta, arresting 14 suspects and seizing ecstasy and etomidate vapes.
"Operational structures within the business were aware of these drug activities," said Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, the Director of Drug Crimes, as cited by antaranews.com..
He revealed that over 12 years of operation, the hotel allegedly distributed up to 657,000 ecstasy pills and 54,750 etomidate vapes, valued at hundreds of billions of rupiah.
"An estimated 339,450 to 684,375 people are believed to have consumed these narcotics here," Chief Eko said.
The illicit ring utilized a "red code" system, restricting transactions to VIP guests through designated staff to evade law enforcement. Investigators are currently tracking the network's financial flows to uncover potential money laundering offenses and pursue remaining suspects.
