Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi made history on Sunday night (17/5/2026) by becoming the first-ever Indonesian volleyball club to win the prestigious AVC Men's Champions League.

Driven by world-class performances from Noumory Keita, Robertlandy Simon Aties, and Rok Mozic, the police-backed club secured a thrilling 3-1 (25-20, 24-26, 25-23, 25-23) victory over Iranian powerhouse Foolad Sirjan Iranian in the final match held in Pontianak, West Kalimantan, according to antaranews.com.

Head coach Reidel Alfonso Gonzalez Toiran’s squad claimed an authoritative opening set before Foolad Sirjan fought back in a razor-thin second set to level the score. Undeterred by the pressure, Bhayangkara maintained their defensive composure during tense point-by-point exchanges in the third set, locking it down at 25-23.

The decisive fourth set saw Foolad launch an early 4-1 assault, but tactical adjustments by national star Farhan Halim and the rest of the roster systematically closed the gap. In a dramatic final sequence, with the score gridlocked at the critical 23-23 mark, Bhayangkara capitalized on unforced opposition errors to reach match point.

Noumory Keita then sealed the historic Asian crown with a thunderous service ace. Beyond the regional trophy, this landmark victory officially books Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi a spot in the upcoming 2026 FIVB Men's Club World Championship.
