Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto conducted an on-site inspection of the Traffic Congestion Management Team at key bottleneck areas in the capital on Friday night.

“We want to ensure that our team is fully prepared and effective in managing traffic congestion,” he said in a statement made available to antaranews.com  on Saturday (15/2/2025).

The inspection focused on major congestion-prone intersections, including Kuningan and Mampang Prapatan traffic lights, where officers implemented traffic flow adjustments from 6.0 pm to 9.5 pm. The measures helped ease vehicle movement in these high-density areas.

Chief Karyoto also urged motorists to follow traffic regulations, emphasizing that enforcement efforts alone are not enough. 

The Jakarta Police will continue to assess and refine traffic management strategies to enhance mobility and improve road conditions across the city.
