Inp.polri.go.id - Jambi. The Jambi Regional Police marked the 80th Bhayangkara Day with a large-scale social service program, distributing 1,000 food packages to residents across the province on Monday (15/6/2026).
The event, held at the Main Lobby of the Jambi Police Headquarters, was led by Jambi Police Chief Inspector General. Krisno H. Siregar, accompanied by Deputy Chief Brigadier Gneral Beny Ali and senior officers.
“We are distributing 1,000 food packages to various groups in need. This is part of our Bhayangkara Day celebrations and our commitment to serve the community,” he said, adding that the initiative reflects the Indonesian National Police (INP)’s gratitude and dedication to society.
The ceremony began with prayers and symbolic handovers to recipients including journalists, online drivers, sanitation workers, and other community groups. Each package contained rice, cooking oil, sugar, flour, and instant noodles.
Jambi Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Erlan Munaji said that Bhayangkara Day is not only a moment of reflection but also an opportunity to strengthen bonds with the public.
“Through this social service, we aim to share benefits and build harmony with all elements of society,” he explained.
