Inp.polri.go.id - Karawang. The Karawang Sub-regional Police Unit of Criminal Investigation, the Klari leadership and local farmers, launched a hybrid corn planting program to support Indonesia’s 2026 Food Self-Sufficiency initiative on government-owned land in Pancawati Village, Klari District, Karawang on Monday (15/6/2026).

Led by Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit Assistant Senior Inspector Nazal Fawwaz, the initiative highlights police involvement beyond security, extending to social and economic support. 

“Food security is a shared responsibility. This hybrid corn program is a collaboration between police, local leadership, and farmers,” he said.

The event was attended by Klari  Police Chief Senior Inspector Bambang Sumitro, Klari District Head Udin, Klari Military Commander Captain Suryadi, and other officials. 

Farmers welcomed the support, which aims to boost harvests, improve welfare, and strengthen the local economy.
