inp.polri.go.id - Central Java. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo led the flag-off ceremony for the national One-Way traffic system for the Eid al-Fitr homecoming flow at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate in Central Java on Tuesday (3/24/2026).

The One-Way system will be implemented from km 414 to km 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) Toll Road. This is intended to ease congestion caused by the surge in traffic volume.

He reminded all travelers to prioritize safety over speed. Sigit also urged them to take advantage of rest areas or service posts to rest if they feel tired during the journey.

"Of course, we hope that people who will be returning home will pay attention to their own security and safety," said Sigit.

Furthermore, Sigit assured that the government and all relevant stakeholders will continue to provide services and security for those going on a trip during Eid al-Fitr holiday season.

"Please take advantage of all the facilities provided by the government, whether at rest areas, service posts, or integrated posts. We hope those who are tired can rest and avoid overexerting themselves," said Sigit.

Sigit also revealed that his administration is implementing measures to prevent severe congestion caused by bottlenecks. The strategy is to activate functional toll roads and implement other traffic engineering measures.
