Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A magnitude 3.0 earthquake shook northeast of Toli-toli, Central Sulawesi, on Thursday (16/7/2026) at 7.13 am, according to the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).
The agency reported that the epicenter was located at coordinates 1.12 North Latitude and 120.90 East Longitude. The seismic event was centered approximately 31 kilometers northeast of Toli-toli and struck at an ultra-shallow depth of 3 kilometers.

The agency noted in its disclaimer that the initial release prioritizes speed, meaning the early data processing is not yet fully stable and remains subject to changes as more telemetry data becomes available. No immediate damages or casualties were reported following the minor tremor.
