Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A magnitude 3.0 earthquake struck southwest of Sumur, Banten, on Thursday (16/7/2026) at 6.58 am, according to the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).

The agency reported that the epicenter was located at coordinates 6.77 South Latitude and 105.07 East Longitude. The shallow seismic event occurred approximately 57 kilometers southwest of Sumur at a depth of 8 kilometers.
