Tangerang Sub-regional City Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Andi Muhammad Indra Waspada Amirullah, stated that A was arrested after being reported for alleged sexual violence against four teenage girls.

"So far, four victims have filed reports, aged 15 to 16," explained Indra Waspada on Tuesday (4/28/2026).

Indra Waspada explained that the four victims were A's students studying the Qur’an. During his actions, the suspect used the alibi of cleansing the victims of spirits or jinn.

According to Suspect A's statement to investigators, the acts had been going on since October 2025. The victims were usually asked to shower, and Suspect A would follow them into the bathroom, where he would then commit the crime.

"The suspect also threatened the victim to comply and not resist, and asked her not to tell anyone," said Indra Waspada.
