inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo emphasized his commitment to create a safe and conducive investment climate in the country.

This was stated by him when attending the Eid al-Fitr Gathering with KSPSI AGN at PT KMK Global Sports, Tangerang, on Tuesday (4/14/2026).

He highlights that solidarity and support of all parties is vital in facing the current uncertain global condition due to the escalation in the Middle East.

“Which of course would affect us domestically. That is why, we agree that we have to be ready in facing that situation,” said General Sigit.

One of the steps he proposes is to ensure that the investment climate in Indonesia remains conducive.

He noted that Indonesia has abundant natural resources, along with its human resources, that could definitely compete with other countries.

On the other hand, Sigit hopes that industrial issues that are currently happening can be resolved meticulously and properly between the companies and labor unions.

“We pray that the issue can be resolved well as we show the world that Indonesia is able to resolve industrial disputes well,” highlighted Sigit.

Sigit also invites all labor unions to celebrate the upcoming May Day on May 1st safely and orderly.

He assures that his forces will guarantee the rights of all labor in celebrating May Day on the street.
