Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri ordered over 2,000 Mobile Brigade (Brimob) personnel on Monday (20/4/2026)  to prioritize a humanist approach and eliminate arrogant behavior when interacting with the public.

"Never hurt the people's hearts; display a Brimob that is firm without being arrogant and ready to act with full control," he said during a strategic briefing at the Presisi Stadium, as reported by antaranews.com.

Chief Asep Edi emphasized that professional integrity must be reflected through measured actions and strict accountability, especially for newly inaugurated officers entering the capital's dynamic security environment. 

He reminded the Brimob unit that their primary mission is to provide a sense of safety while maintaining institutional reputation through discipline and loyalty. The briefing concluded with a call for personnel to remain vigilant and cohesive in preparation for upcoming high-intensity security operations across Greater Jakarta.
