Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Three officers from the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police have been selected to join the Indonesian national contingent for the 2026 FAI World Cup of Indoor Skydiving, currently being held in Lesquin, Lille, France.
"This is a moment of pride for both our institution and the nation, proving that police officers possess the world-class dedication and capacity to compete on the global stage," Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, the Head of Public Relations for the Metro Jaya POlice, said on Thursday (9/4/2026), as cited by antaranews.com.
The officers are Senior Inspector Sang Ngurah Wiratama from the Special Crimes Directorate, Second Brigadier Siti Andriani and Second Brigadier Imelya Cahya Pramadita from the Mobile Brigade Unit.
The two female officers are scheduled to compete in the highly technical 4-Way Formation Skydiving category. Part of a 26-member national squad, the trio underwent intensive physical and technical training to master the wind tunnel maneuvers required for this extreme sport. The competition, running from 9 to 11 April 2026, features top athletes from around the world, testing their mid-air stability and body control in high-speed vertical tunnels.
