Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police foiled a narcotics distribution network on Tuesday, seizing 183 vape cartridges filled with liquid etomidate at an apartment complex in Tangerang regency, and arresting a 19-year-old male suspect during the operation.

"We arrested the suspect in the apartment lobby and recovered hundreds of cartridges containing liquid etomidate," said Unit 5 Subdistrict 3 Narcotics Investigation Head Assistant Senior Inspector Edy Lestari on Saturday (16/5/2026), as quoted by antaranews.com.

Acting on public tips, investigators uncovered cartridges concealed in wrapped paper bags marked "fragile" before searching an apartment unit used for storage.

The suspect, identified as W, and packaging materials remain in police custody for further investigation.
