Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  A team of the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional's Mobile Brigade (Brimob) and Precision Pioneer Team of East Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional Police, preventing a suspected street clash on Jalan Raya Bogor, Ciracas, early on Saturday (27/6/2026).

Eight youths were detained after officers pursued a group allegedly preparing for a fight. A woman at the scene was also taken for questioning.

Brimob Commander Senior Superintendent Henik Maryanto said intensified patrols are part of preventive measures against brawls, illegal racing, and street crime.

“Quick response in the field is expected to minimize security risks before they cause victims or public unrest,” he explained.

Earlier, patrols dispersed youths suspected of illegal racing in Makasar area and advised groups lingering late at night in Kramat Jati to return home. The detained youths were handed to Ciracas Police for further investigation. Authorities urged parents to monitor children’s activities and encouraged the public to report disturbances via Call Center 110.
