Inp.polri.go.id – West Bangka. A solid cooperation between the military and police, along with the locals working together in cleaning Batu Rakit Beach in West Bangka Regency on Thursday (5/2/2024).

The Marine and Air Unit of Bangka Belitung Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Himawan Sutanto Saragih says that the social activity is to clean the beach from grass, wood on land, rubbish that litters the beach.

Furthermore, the activity also aims to improve the solidarity between the Navy and Bangka Belitung Marine and Air Unit and uphold the theme of “Clean Shores, Beautiful Seas”.

Himawan hopes that with the social activity, it would preserve nature's beauty and could help drive the local economy, while also preventing abrasion that could lead to tidal flooding.
