inp.polri.go.id - Palu. Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions (Mendes PDT) Yandri Susanto reminded regional heads to oversee the formation of red and white village/sub-district cooperatives.

"Presidential Decree Number 9 of 2025 concerning the task force to accelerate the formation of red and white village/sub-district cooperatives has been issued," he said in Palu, Thursday (5/22/2025).

He continued, the decree is a follow-up to Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 9 of 2025 concerning the acceleration of the formation of red and white village/sub-district cooperatives. The regulation mandates the governor as the head of the task force at the provincial level and the regent/mayor as the head of the task force at the district and city levels.

"For the secretary, it is the regional apparatus organization (OPD) that handles cooperatives," he said.

He revealed that for the first time in the history of the Republic of Indonesia, cooperatives were worked on together with the initiative of President Prabowo Subianto. In the formation of the red and white cooperative, 18 elements of ministries, institutions, and provincial, district and city governments were involved.

Yandri said that the Minister of Home Affairs had allowed local governments to use Unexpected Expenditure (BTT) funds to pay for the notary deed fees in the formation of the red and white cooperative.

"The regents and mayors have received a love letter from the Minister of Home Affairs. BTT can be used for notarial deeds," he said.
