"The perpetrator dumped the victim's body parts in several locations in Bogor Regency before fleeing to Majalengka. The perpetrator also took the victim's belongings," explained the Head of Public Information for the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Public Relations Division, Police Assistant Superintendent Tiksnarto Andaru Rahutomo, on Wednesday (3/1/2026).
He said investigators found the victim's body parts in several different locations. Severed hands and feet were found in the Cariu area of Bogor Regency, West Java.
Andaru stated that the victim's body parts were dumped in two locations approximately 2 kilometers apart. The first was found in a bamboo grove on the side of Gunung Batu Puncak 2 street, Selawangi Village, Cariu District, Bogor.
"Several of the victim's body parts were dumped in several locations and found in two different locations in Bogor Regency," he said.
At the location, he said, they found the right hand, left hand, right leg, and left leg, all wrapped in red plastic. Investigators later found more body parts.
"Then, at 7:00 PM, a gray bag containing a piece of the upper thigh was found at the same location," explained Andaru.
He added that the other thigh piece was found in a different location, approximately 2 kilometers away, in a garbage pile on Jalan Sawangi Cariu, Tanjungsari District.
"About 2 kilometers from the location where the first piece was found. At that location, at 8:30 PM, another piece of the upper thigh was found in a garbage pile," he said.
