The 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force from the Puncak Jaya Sector continues to strengthen its presence in the community through foot patrols, emphasizing a humanistic approach. The activity was carried out in Muara District, Puncak Jaya Regency, on Sunday (8/23/2026).

The patrol aimed not only to maintain public order and security but also to build communication and rapport with the civilians.

During the activity, personnel walked around the Muara District area while interacting directly with the community. Personnel also took the time to chat with locals, sharing food, and even help them pick chilies.

Yuni, a Muara District resident, expressed her appreciation for the presence of the Cartensz Peace Operation Police Task Force personnel, who she said had provided a sense of security and fostered closer interaction with the community.

"We are happy to see the police officers come and talk with the locals. They not only patrol, but also help us in our gardens. We feel closer and safer," Yuni said.

The Head of the 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation, Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani, stated that patrols within the community are not solely focused on security aspects, but also serve as a means to directly understand the conditions and needs of residents.

"The presence of personnel within the community must provide a sense of security and build trust. Therefore, we are doing patrols with a humanistic approach so that the community can communicate openly with personnel in the field," said the Head of the Cartenz-2026 Peace Operation.
