Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek (JCC) reported that 40,523 vehicles left Jakarta via the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed (MBZ) Flyover on Sunday, marking the sixth day before Eid al-Fitr. 

This figure represented a significant 74.36% surge compared to normal daily traffic of approximately 23,241 vehicles. Conversely, traffic entering Jakarta via the same route saw a slight dip of 2.19%, totaling 32,565 vehicles.

"From H-10 to H-6 of the 2026 Eid period, a total of 176,815 vehicles have been monitored leaving Jakarta via the MBZ Flyover," said PT JJC President Director Hendri Taufik on Monday (16/3/2026), as cited by antaranews.com. 

This cumulative figure is 36.09% higher than typical traffic levels, signaling the start of the mass annual exodus. Officials have urged travelers to plan their journeys wisely to avoid peak congestion and to ensure both drivers and vehicles are in prime condition, especially given the potential for unpredictable weather and rain that can affect road safety on the elevated highway.
