inp.polri.go.id - Cianjur. The Cianjur Sub-regional Police, with the Cianjur Regency National Narcotics Agency (BNN), have uncovered three suspected perpetrators of an inter-island drug network distributing methamphetamine online.
Cianjur Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Alexander Yurikho Hadi, stated that the meth network, operated through several social media accounts, was uncovered after the joint team conducted an investigation. Following the investigation, the team arrested AS, a resident of Cikahuripan Village, Gekbrong District, on Tuesday (6/9/2026). During a search, officers found 50 packages of methamphetamine, each weighing 270 grams, in a closet.
"We, along with the Cianjur BNNK, conducted an investigation and obtained the suspect's name. Officers immediately arrested and searched him. Fifty packets of methamphetamine were seized from AS's home," he said on Monday (June 15, 2026).
Following the investigation, officers obtained the names of two more members of the network who supplied the methamphetamine to AS. Then, joint officers were deployed again and successfully arrested TP and AN, residents of Cirumput Village, Cugenang District, on Friday (6/12/2026).
Officers also confiscated one gram of methamphetamine as evidence and identified a major dealer who supplied the methamphetamine to the Cianjur network and is currently on the police's wanted list.
"The transactions were conducted through dozens of social media accounts, so buyers never met the alleged dealers. The accounts were closed after the transactions were completed to deceive officers," he explained.
